The personal data you provide when ordering a senior ticket will be used by Västtrafik AB to process and administer your order, record your use of the senior ticket, send you information relating to the senior ticket and for statistical monitoring in order to develop Västtrafik AB’s services.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the performance of the contract that comes into existence between you and Västtrafik when you order your senior ticket. You are not obliged to provide your personal data, but if you choose not to do so, you will not be able to obtain a senior ticket. Your senior ticket must be registered to you, among other things so that we can inform you if the municipality changes the terms and conditions for the senior ticket as well as us being able to secure that you are still registered in the municipality. If you are registered in another municipality or if you unregister the senior ticket, the senior ticket will be blocked.
If you indicate that you wish to receive information and offers from Västtrafik, Västtrafik AB will process the personal data you provide for those purposes. Since Västtrafik AB is subject to the principle of public access, your personal data is stored in accordance with the erasure decisions that apply to Västtrafik AB.
