Free and flexible by bike

In 2024, we will conduct several different bike trial where we give you a chance to avoid queues and try commuting with an electric bike. The aim is to get more people to discover a sustainable and flexible way to travel.

Electric bike trial

Västtrafik continually offers residents in Västra Götaland to try new habits through an electric bike trial. You can borrow an electric bike for a couple of weeks and hopefully let your car rest.

The application period to borrow an e-bike bike in Falkenberg municipality is closed and selected participants have been contacted. We offer one trial period: 

  • The trial period runs between 19 November 2024 until 29 January 2025.

The application period to borrow an e-bike in Lindholmen in Gothenburg is closed and selected participants have been contacted. We offer one trial period:

  • The trial period runs between 26 September and 7 November.

Test with folding bike

With a folding bike, commuting with public transportation becomes easier. You just fold it up and take it with you on public transit, and then you can easily continue your journey with the bike when you get off.
