If you live in Kinna, Skene and Örby you can travel with us in a new way – without a timetable, without a line and maybe a little more as you like it? We are now testing Bus on demand to see how we can develop public transport. The test will continue until the turn of the year 2024/2025 and will then be evaluated.
Wherever you want, whenever you want
We call it Buss on demand. Here is how it works:
You book your trip in the Buss on demand app and decide where we will pick you up and where you will get off. You can search for a stop or address.
The app plans the route and if more people are going in the same direction, you go together.
You buy a ticket in the Västtrafik To Go app. If you already have a period ticket, Västtrafik card, school ticket or senior ticket, for example, you travel with it. All Västtrafik's regular tickets are valid.
You can travel by Buss on demand Monday to Friday from 7 am to 9 pm. Saturday and Sunday you can travel from 10 am to 8 pm.
As a test pilot, you will have to answer a few short questions when you register and when you travel with Buss on demand.
Regular public transport will continue as usual.
